Truity’s Personality and Careers Blog
Drenth INFJs are outwardly warm and engaging. Due to their extraversion of Feeling Fe , they can readily ingratiate themselves to others. And while forming quick friendships and extensive connections may be the goal for some extraverts, for INFJs, this is not the point at all.

They love being with them. They love forming intimate relationships with them. They love surrendering to the connection between two people when all the distance falls away and they each express themselves openly and without censorship. And they love sharing their endless warmth and sensitivity with their soulmate. As has often been observed, there’s no one more loving than an INFJ in love.
Despite their loving tendencies, INFJs generally have problems with romance. They want a soul-deep connection with someone who is invested “all in” with the relationship, and can get frustrated when the other person isn’t on the same wavelength as them. They’re also quite slow to test the waters, and may let romantic opportunities pass them because they’re scared to initiate anything.
As soon as I was able to use it to explain my weirdness, I wanted the rest of my family to type themselves, including my husband. Of course these are generalizations, something personality theory as a whole is subject to. I think it was this that got my attention when I met my husband: I had never met someone so much like me, but with more confidence.
He was in a previous relationship with someone who enjoyed socializing regularly, and he describes this as a source of constant struggle between them. He wanted to stay home most of the time, so she accused him of being boring.
For an INFP, relationships may be less numerous but those that are formed are often long-lasting. This Myers-Briggs personality is defined as primarily being introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving, although this description really only scratches the surface of this character.
The Rules Revisited I’ve dated countless women and it has always amazed me how little they know about men. If nothing else, this blog is an outlet for voicing my astonishment at the typical female’s ignorance of the male mindset. At most, it is a reliable source of advice for women who want to improve their chances with the opposite sex. Because men can have sex without worrying about pregnancy, social stigma, rape, less about STDs, etc.
This is so obvious that it might not be worth stating, but ultimately, it means there is a deficit of women for promiscuous sexual relationships. The relatively high demand for females means that women have more and better sexual options.
INTJ Death Stare Meaning
Specifically, we will be looking at the joys of this relationship as well as the struggles this relationship may have. Regardless of the number of similarities and differences, each personality combination will have its unique set of challenges. We will look at each of the 4 preferences individually:
INTJ death stare is an expression, which is mostly misinterpreted by others as a negative feeling and makes people feel bit uncomfortable.
This Myers-Briggs personality is defined as primarily being introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving, although this description really only scratches the surface of this character. An estimated four to five percent of the population has the INFP personality. Although there is a fairly balanced ratio of males and females with this character, it does seem that this persona appears slightly more often in males. When a conflict does arise, this persona may have a profound emotional reaction.
They often go by their feelings rather than what science, facts, or logic suggests. Most individuals with this type of personality do not really care if their opinion is right, they simply care about how a situation or a person makes them feel. That is not to say that these individuals cannot be logical — they can, quite successfully, with self-training and abstract thought practices. INFPs make great listeners and because they are usually non-judgmental they are often sought out by friends who need to vent.
This sort of individual may look for hidden meanings in the actions and words of others and may even go so far as to imagine a meaning where none lies. This is simply a result of the dreamer aspect of this personality shining through. INFPs tend to be perfectionists and often strive to reach personal ideals that can be exhausting or even impossible to obtain.
INTJs and INTPs in love
The N stands for Intuition. It means that she draws from stored unconscious knowledge accrued through the years from books, movies, other people, experience, and reflection. Generally, the INTJ has top-notch information stored. The T stands for thinker as opposed to feeler , and this means that decisions are based on a process of deduction and analysis rather than what she feels.
Bear in mind that feeling is related to emotions and is not the same as intuition.

However, they take everything too seriously and are perfectionists.
12 Shades of INTJ: MBTI & the Zodiac
Read a book, watch an in-depth movie, stretch your mental capacity. Aw, does this hurt your feelings? But you know it is.
INTJ’s are not known for placing a lot of emphasis on romance. We embody the suppression of emotion, not the expression of it. We can be so matter-of-fact and hard-headed that it’s difficult to imagine us doing something as frivolous as falling in love.
The INTJ girl may experience bullying from other girls in her age range for not adhering to societal norms because her actions will appear to others more like those expected from a boy. This lack of acceptance from other females will likely encourage the INTJ girl to primarily, or even exclusively, befriend boys throughout her childhood. It might also lead to the beginnings of INTJ social anxiety.
Once the INTJ girl has started to realize that she functions differently than other children, the reason why fitting in is so difficult becomes more clear. It is especially hard for an INTJ girl to meet the expectations of respected familial authority figures when those authorities are expecting her to act like other children do.
Many INTJ females will become competitive in their teenage years. The way in which this competitiveness shows itself will differ from one INTJ female to another, though academic superiority is almost universal. This can highlight the elevated self-regard and arrogance characteristic of the INTJ. INTJ girls are often disinterested in appearing like other girls and do not usually feel obligated to adhere to gender-specific standards. As a result, it can be difficult to find peers with whom she shares enough common interests to found a deep or lasting relationship on.
If an INTJ girl is self-confident enough, she will make lifetime goals and plan for success. Others may not deal with the lack of support as well, losing themselves in anxiety or even depression. Struggles with low self-worth or self-respect can both lead to and be caused by the perfectionist habit of comparing oneself to others and to impossible, internalized standards. This can deepen anxiety in social situations, making it increasingly difficult to relax.
They have a great desire to foster social institutions, such the home, church, and school. Often hosting parties, they strengthen the bonds of social circles by setting norms and making sure everyone has a good time. They are attracted to those who let them do what they do best – providing service to others. Thus, they enjoy spending time with those who can appreciate their nurture the most. On the other hand, they may also enter into relationships with those who share their values and are highly committed to providing for a family.
During a Relationship They make loyal, committed partners.
The INTJ is logic-driven personality type with a talent for solving problems and a focus on accomplishing goals. INTJs are capable of forecasting far out into the future with an astonishing level of accuracy.

INTJs and INTPs in love
Strongly humanitarian in outlook, INFJs tend to be idealists, and because of their J preference for closure and completion, they are generally “doers” as well as dreamers. This rare combination of vision and practicality often results in INFJs taking a disproportionate amount of responsibility in the various causes to which so many of them seem to be drawn. INFJs are deeply concerned about their relations with individuals as well as the state of humanity at large.
INTP vs INTJ: These two personality types can be difficult to tell apart. This personality type showdown outlines 5 surprising differences.
Although it may have started with the Egyptians or Mesopotamians, the first typology of temperament is credited to an Ancient Greek physician named Hippocrates who developed a model of personality types called The Four Humors. Typology of temperament is as old as mythology, so it is probably no coincidence that both were popularized by the Ancient Greeks. A myth, by its definition, explains how the world came to be through a story where the main characters are gods, supernatural heroes, or extraordinary human beings.
In Jungian psychology, archetypes are patterns of thought and images that exist in all cultures and individuals and are unconsciously expressed through art, literature, and other patterns of behavior. The MBTI is a four-letter indicator representing four dimensions: Introversion action oriented vs. Intuition concrete information gathering vs.
Feeling logic-based decision making vs. While Ancient Greek myths and characters continue to fascinate us today through numerous remakes and movie adaptations, a new breed of mythology and archetypes has appeared in the last century via superhero comics. They provide creative and charismatic leadership and help others fulfill their potential.
In their enthusiastic rush towards the next challenge, ENFJs sometimes make hasty decisions without gathering all the facts. They also have a tendency to be impatient with people who are inefficient or uncooperative, such as Wolverine who has the opposite mental function of Cyclops Cyclops is an NF while Wolverine is an ST.
If he weren’t a mutant leader, Cyclops would probably be a public relations specialist, marketing executive, management consultant, or CEO of a non-profit organization. They are extremely creative, which may not be apparent to most people as they introvert their creativity.
At work, the INTJ excels at creating and implementing innovative solutions to analytical problems. They naturally see possibilities for improvement within complex systems and are organized and determined in implementing their ideas for change. INTJs are comfortable with abstraction and theory but gain the most satisfaction from turning their ideas into reality. They often enjoy working independently or with a small team, taking measured, strategic steps to implement change.
INTJs enjoy working with logical systems that they can understand in depth.
ENTJ: The Evil Overlord. The ENTJ is best characterized by his charisma, his ability to grasp complex situations and to think flexibly and creatively, his keen and active intelligence, and his overwhelming desire to crush the world beneath his boot.
Depending on their type, Intuitive Introverts will use different methods and standards for evaluating prospective partners. INFs are likely to find such logical approaches distasteful or even laughable. INFJs lean heavily on their intuition for identifying potential love interests, while INFP relationship-seekers assess potential mates by way of their feelings and values.
Despite such differences in approach, Intuitive Introverts are alike in their susceptibility to being tripped up by their inferior function. In order to understand what I mean by this, we will need to backtrack a bit first. I also believe that the approach used by an individual to assess potential mates should be rooted in the top two functions of his or her type. Take INTPs, for example. In accordance with their dominant Ti and auxiliary Ne functions, INTPs tend to value things such as ideas, theories, philosophizing, and intellectual discussions.
These are also the sorts of things that INTPs will, and arguably should, consciously value in a partner. The reason for this has much to do with the mischievous ways of the inferior function. The inferior function opposes the dominant function, is largely subconscious, and, in many ways, has its own agenda.
